Michael Alexander, Ph.D., has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry providing legal guidance and strategic business advice on various corporate, research & development, intellectual property and transactional matters.  He is currently providing general counsel consulting services for various start-up companies.

Previously. Dr. Alexander was the General Counsel, Head of Intellectual Property and Secretary of SwanBio Therapeutics and General Counsel R&D Division at Sanofi US. Prior to that, he was Assistant General Counsel Intellectual Property at Sanofi US. He received his J.D. from Widener University, Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University in organic and medicinal chemistry, and B.S. in chemistry from Saint Lawrence University and is a registered patent attorney.
